Feed Gaza NOW: Tatreez Circle & Workshop
Workshop Description:
Join us for a special in-person Tatreez Circle and Global Stitch-Along in solidarity with Gaza.
Together, we’ll be stitching motifs from the Feed Gaza NOW Tatreez Toolkit — designs created to honor Palestinian resistance, raise funds for food distribution, and spark conversations around collective care.
This workshop is beginner-friendly and rooted in community.
🧾 $25 of every ticket goes directly to grassroots mutual aid funds in Gaza.
💡 The remaining $15 supports materials and the facilitator’s time.
Session Details:
Date/Time:
Saturday, August 23, from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM EST
Location:
The People’s Forum
320 W 37th St, New York, NY 10018
Supplies Provided:
Fabric
Needle
Thread
Printed patterns
Stitch-along toolkit
Design:
Participants will be stitching motifs from the Feed Gaza NOW collection — powerful designs created by members of The Tatreez Grove as part of a global stitch-along for solidarity, storytelling, and survival.
Why We’re Stitching:
Over 500,000 people in Gaza are being intentionally starved. This is not a natural famine — it’s a manmade crisis. Through this global stitch-along, we’re transforming our thread into resistance and using our embroidery to feed, honor, and remember.
Note:
Limited to 20 seats. Reserve your spot now!
