Workshops Overview

Whether virtual or in-person, building connections with one other is always a good idea. Bring your team together and foster stronger human connections while getting rooted in a rich cultural tradition. Our Tatreez workshops are enjoyable, captivating, and creatively inspiring, leaving a lasting impression on all who attend.

Lina’s Thobe works with companies and organizations of all sizes across the country and has created custom programs for every one of them.

In-person experiences

The in-person workshops are tailored to fit your goals. Give your colleagues and members an opportunity to work with their hands together and share stories through the intimate language of Palestinian embroidery.

Virtual experiences

The virtual experience makes it easy for everyone to get involved wherever they live, work, or play. Whether you have a group of 20 or 2,000 people, a virtual tatreez workshop experience is perfect for learning the history and evolution of this centuries-long practice, small team bonding events, or large enterprise occasions. Each participant can receive a complete tatreez kit prior to the event (upon request) and is encouraged to bring pets (cats have shown a keen interest in this tradition), partners, and kids to join in on the stitching.

Why the experience works

Rooted in cultural heritage, creativity, and human connection, everything we do is customized to your company’s needs…and there are studies out there that show the positive, mindful impact that embroidery has on your soul!

We customize based on your organization

No two groups are the same and no two workshops are exactly the same. Each experience is a reflection of those attending and how they look to engage with thread and needle while in-community with each other.

~ Celebrate creative expression

~ Build human connections

~ Appreciate cultural uniqueness
